For the purposes of these sites, “transfer” refers to a change in ownership and does not imply a change in license management within the same entity or between companies or services covered by a single agreement. 2.1.7.2 For the avoidance of doubt and without limitation, the foregoing does not allow Customer to install or access the Software (directly or through commands, data or instructions): (a) from or to a computer that is not part of Customer`s internal network; (b) allow the public to have public access to Internet-hosted working groups or services hosted on the Internet; (c) by any person or entity to use, download, copy, or otherwise benefit from the features of the Software, unless Adobe has obtained a license to do so; (d) as part of a system, workflow or service that more users can access; or (e) for operations not initiated by a single user (e.B automated processing of the server). For duplicate LWS user IDs or when consolidating LWS licenses, a merge may be appropriate. The merge merges information from an existing LWS ID with information from another existing LWS ID. 16.5.4 Third Party Beneficiaries. Customer agrees that any CERTIFICATION authority on which Customer relies is a third party beneficiary of this Agreement and has the right to enforce this Agreement on its own behalf as if it were Adobe. Quantity Discount: None, although the time saved by managing licenses 1.8 “Authorized Number” means one (1), unless otherwise specified in a valid license granted by Adobe (e.B. Volume License). 4.8 Limitations of the Adobe Runtime. Customer will not use Adobe Runtimes on devices other than PCs or with embedded versions or devices of an operating system. For the avoidance of doubt and by way of example only, Customer may not install Adobe Runtimes on (a) a mobile device, set-top box, handheld, telephone, game console, TV, DVD player, media center (except with Windows XP Media Center Edition and its successors), electronic display panel or other digital signage device, an Internet device or any other device connected to the Internet, PDA, medical device, ATM, telematic device, slot machine, home automation system, kiosk, remote control device or any other consumer electronic device; (b) mobile, cable, satellite or operator-based television system; or (c) another closed-system device.

Please note that the provisions of Section 8 (Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply to any claim for damages made by Customer in connection with customer`s use of the Software. However, Adobe is responsible for any reasonably foreseeable direct loss in the event of Adobe`s breach of this Agreement. The Customer is advised to take all reasonable steps to prevent and reduce damage, including by making backup copies of the Software and its computer data. 2.3 Use of School Location Only. Each K-12 site license granted to your school allows your institution to use the K-12 site license software on a single school site. “A school site” means a school located at a single civic address. Additional K-12 site licenses must be purchased separately to be installed or used at other sites. The K-12 Site License is limited to the installation of all software included in the purchased license (regardless of platform) on a maximum number of computers authorized or leased in the section above that are located in the section above, and depending on the type of license your institution has purchased. 16.3 Educational Software Product. If the Software is an educational software product (software manufactured and distributed solely for use by end users in the education sector), Customer is not permitted to use the Software unless Customer qualifies in its jurisdiction as an End User in the education sector.

For Software available on a subscription basis (“Subscription Edition”), Customer may install and use the Subscription Edition only on the authorized number of compatible computers during the License Term. Subject to the number of computers authorized for the subscription edition, Adobe may allow Customer to install and use the latest previous version of the subscription edition and the current version of the subscription edition on the same computer for the duration of the license. Customer agrees that Adobe may use the type of software included in the Subscription Edition (e.B. certain components, versions, platforms, languages, etc.) may change at any time and is in no way liable to Customer for any such change. Continued access to a subscription edition requires: (a) a recurring Internet connection to activate, renew, and validate the License, (b) receive recurring subscription payments from Adobe or its authorized reseller, and (c) Customer`s acceptance of the Subscription Terms and other additional terms available at www.adobe.com/go/paymentterms or at the time of purchase. If Adobe does not receive recurring payment for the subscription or is unable to validate the license periodically, the software may become inactive without additional notice until Adobe receives payment or validates the license. 16.8.3 For each individual Extended Document, Customer may (a) provide such Extended Document only to an unlimited number of unique recipients, but Customer may not extract or cause to be extracted information from more than five hundred (500) unique instances of such Extended Document or a printed representation of such Extended Document containing completed form fields, be extracted; or (b) provide this Extended Document to a maximum of five hundred (500) unique recipients without limiting the frequency with which Customer may retrieve information from this Extended Document returned to Customer in its entirety by such recipients. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, purchasing additional licenses to use Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite does not increase the above limitations (i.e. h., the above limitations are the total limits, regardless of the number of additional licenses the customer has received for the use of Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite).
For more information about transferring volume licensed software, see www.adobe.com/go/volumepolicies.
